Important Federal-Approval Notice
Certain July 1, 2026 substance-use-disorder service restructuring provisions become effective on July 1, 2026, or upon federal approval, whichever occurs later.
Course materials identify provisions that may remain subject to federal approval. Providers should review current Minnesota Health Care Programs provider news and DHS guidance before implementing or billing under the restructured service requirements.
Assessment and Certificate Requirements
Each course includes a randomized final assessment consisting of 10 questions selected from a 28-question question bank. Participants must earn a score of at least 80% to successfully complete the course and receive a certificate.
Participants should complete the course version applicable to their job duties, supervisory responsibilities, and licensed service setting.
