Overview:
Mental health conditions in older adults are common, often missed, and profoundly treatable with the right support. This course equips home care workers to distinguish depression, dementia, and delirium, communicate effectively with cognitively impaired clients, recognize and address social isolation, and support the mental health and quality of life of aging clients in home care settings.
