A comprehensive 28-module behavioral health curriculum for caregivers and staff supporting individuals with mental health and substance use needs in home and community-based settings.
Topics include behavioral health foundations, recognizing common diagnoses, substance use disorders, trauma-informed care, cultural competency, co-occurring disorders, psychotropic medications, suicide risk and crisis response, de-escalation, and supporting individuals with specific conditions including schizophrenia, mood, anxiety and OCD, PTSD, personality, and eating disorders. Later modules address dual diagnosis, motivational interviewing, professional boundaries and ethics, caregiver burnout, mental health and aging, LGBTQ+ behavioral health, and telehealth.
Each module includes a knowledge assessment.
